Ralph Goodenough's new album, "Born to Play,' is a diverse collection of his acoustic and electric compositions. The poetry is timely and poignant, the music is dynamic and rhythmic, and the collection shows a broad range of lyric and musical styles, including blues, jazz, and rock. He looks back personally and fondly on many reflections of life, love, and human nature. It is a fair share of work from someone who was indeed "Born to Play."
